Amidst nature

Our farm lies at 1,300 metres see level located in a bright clearing/glade surrounded by woods, meadows and fields. The panoramic view reaches from the Ortler all the way to the Dolomites. The location lives up to its descriptive name ?Lichtenstern?, meaning as much as ?the glade of stars?. Our family business is run by farmer Toni, wife Christina and children Erich and Sylvia (both employed otherwise).

You will find cows, young cattle and pigs in the stable. We also hold hens, cats and a dog named Bobby. Because of his size, Bobby seems to instil more respect than due, but is fond of kids and people. Young and old will find recreational possibilities around the house: there?s a playground, space for sunbathing and a grill- site. Farmer?s wife Christina has a green thumb. She likes spending her time in the two big herb and vegetable gardens. Our guests may help her get things growing and thus reconstruct the journey of a plant, from seed to dish.
