The skiing resort Rittner Horn lies 10 km off our home and can be reached easily by car or bus and offers whatever your athletic and adventurous heart desires: snowboarding, cross country, sledding, snow shoe hiking, ski tours. Equipment can be rented on the spot. The slopes are well-groomed and the area is beautiful with fantastic views of the surrounding Dolomites. After a long day out in the snow, treat yourselves to some après ski and cosy cabin evenings.
Skaters, hockey fans and curlers will find their share of fun at the 3 close-by ponds or at the Arena Ritten with its hockey rink and the fastest outdoor speed skating rink in the world. This is also the home of the local professional ice hockey team RittenSport, which was one of the first hockey clubs in Italy!
