Renon’s historic train
Through forests and meadows by train
Since 1907, we locals are proud of our railway, which connects Soprabolzano with Collalbo, and stops several times in between. In Lichtenstern, only about 400 meters away from Lichtensternhof farm, you will find one of these stops. The little train chugs leisurely through woods and meadows and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. This makes it ideal for excursions or for partial stages on hiking days, as well as for a trip to Soprabolzano, where you can hop right into the next cable car and continue on to the provincial capital of Bolzano. With the RittenCard, which we provide you with free of charge at Lichtensternhof farm, riding the train is free of charge for you!

Renon’s train runs every half hour from 6.08am to 11pm from Soprabolzano to Collalbo and back and stops in Lichtenstern at 16 and 46 minutes after the full hour.
With the RittenCard, riding the train is free of charge.
For your pet, which must wear a muzzle on the train, you will have to buy a ticket.
